In this lesson I carried on with my scripts. I will need to record these scripts soon as they have to be done. When doing the scripts I need to consider the time/ day, chronilogical order ect.

In this lesson we looked at Ratings, Sponsorship, Brand Awareness and Sales . In each section we had to explain what each section is and highlight why it is important. In the sales section we had to find a case study that highlights a brand that is advertised on the television and radio. The case study that I found was on ‘Autoglass’.
We have to do this so we create an understanding to what they are.

In my last Radio lesson i started to analyse my music strings. I had to relate to the target audience that the music strings would be aimed at. I also had to highlight what impact the music strings would have on the listener and also how effective they were. The last thing that i had to talk about when analysing my music strings were the codes and conventions-like the technical quality.

In this lesson i finished up with my music strings. I created 10 strings and have now completed them. I need Miss to check through them to ensure that they are all to a suitable standard. I need to make sure that they are going to suite my target audience.

In the last two weeks my lesson objectives have been to create 10 music strings. These are to be used in our radio and they can be used for the news. weather, travel ect. I have learnt how to make music strings by using Garage Band to achieve this. I had some problems doing this as i have never used the software before. I have been practising on Garage band and had made 7 out of 10 strings, although then something went wrong with it and now have to make the music strings again. Whilst i was making the new music strings teh class was either finishing theres of or they were creating feedback on somebod else’s music strings. As i was creating new strings i have fallen behind in the lesson.

By analysing both my focus group and also my questionnaire i found that there was not much of a difference in answers. Most people had teh same ideas and views about the radio. =)

Through the lesson i found out that my target audince (13-18) do not like to listen to presenters talking on the radio, they may not enjoy to listen to teh presenters as they could potentially find there voices annoying. I also found out that everybody that completed my questionnaire prefferd a variety of genres.
